About this event

WE-Ride for Sat Nov 8: Two Dams, from Descanso Gardens. Starting time 8:00 AM

This weekend, we turn to the west side of our range to enjoy Big T and Hansen Dam on our Two Dams route. Starting in front of Descanso Gardens, the ride climbs to the La Crescenta Highlands and cuts across to Big T, going up to the dam overlook (Dam #1). After descending Big T, we take a scenic loop around the Tujunga Creek settling grounds created by Hansen Dam (Dam #2). After the second Dam a coffee stop (with water and restroom opportunities) at our favorite Backdoor Bakery & Café in Sunland. Finally climbing back up to the La Crescenta saddle via the back roads at the foot of the Verdugos.
