7AM TO LOAD ANY WARM CLOTHES INTO SAG FOR RETURN.   ***7:30 DEPARTURE***

Join us for the June club supported ride Encanto Park to Crystal Lake Campground, Saturday June 8, 2019.  This is a beautiful and challenging ride on some of the best roads in the San Gabriel Mountains.  If you haven't done this ride before, you will be thrilled with the result and the descent!

Lon Bender is the ride organizer. Please email any inquiries to him Lonbender59@gmail.com

This ride will start at a social pace from Encanto Park to the first rest stop at the Picnic Grounds at Cogswell Dam turnoff, which is about 2 miles past East Fork, where we will have refreshments.   Once we depart toward Crystal Lake Campground you set the pace, you will be free to see who gets to the campground first!

Please note that there is limited phone service on much of the ride and the SAG vehicles cannot be everywhere! Riders should carry the tools and supplies necessary and be prepared to do minor repairs (e.g., changing a flat).

If you have clothing you'd like us to take to Crystal Lake Campground for the descent, we will be happy to hold it for you in SAG vehicle at the summit. Please arrive at 7am if you want to get clothes into the SAG vehicle so we an depart at 7:30

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE SUPPORT CUT OFF TIMES: Support will be available until these times- you are not required to turn around or stop just recognize that after these times there will NOT be PAA support.
