Think Chantry without the Chanty climb. Beginning at the Rose Bowl, head South on Arroyo Seco until it dead ends into Trader Joes in South Pasadena. Enjoy the ride East on historic Mission Street in South Pas, turning right on Fair Oaks and heading down to Huntington Drive. Turn left onto Huntington Drive and ride through San Marino and then Arcadia. Huntington Drive dead ends into Santa Anita (really Campus Street does!). Turn left and head onto Santa Anita.

As you head North on Santa Anita we will begin to climb up to Chantry--ALMOST! Take a break at the locked yellow gate and then head down to Sierra Madre and make a right. Lots of easy coffee shops in Sierra Madre if you are wanting a snack. Back on your bike, continue straight on Sierra Madre and take a right onto New York Drive, right at Altadena Drive, then climb through the scenic neighborhood for approximately 4 miles till you get to Casitas. Turn left onto Casitas, right onto Ventura, merge left onto Windsor and then head down into the Arroyo back to your start.

The route starts and ends at the Rose Bowl https://www.strava.com/routes/2802337507717326834 is 29 miles with 1,552 ft. Thank you to Nella Abelson for the route.
