Start: Glendale Amtrak Station (400 West Cerritos Avenue, Glendale CA 91204)

End: Garden Street Lot (9 Garden St, Santa Barbara CA 93103)

REGISTRATION:

You have 2 options to choose from: Century Amtrak or Century Self Return. The club sponsors 75 tickets for members on the Amtrak ride back. Once 75 member "Century Amtrak" registrations are recorded, you will need to arrange for your own transportation back to Glendale.

Guests are welcome! Any guest will be charged $20 for the century and $10 for the half century. They will also be responsible for the cost and booking of their own Amtrak ticket. If your guest would like to attend, please have them register as "Guest Century".

3. Ensure all information is correct and click "complete registration"

4. Come ride bikes and have a blast!!

•  Elevation: 3,318 elevation gain

*Optional* unsupported addition: adds 12 miles. At mile 75.5, make the right turn for Olive st then a quick left onto the Ojai-Ventura Bike Path. Left at Casitas Vista Rd. Right at Santa Ana Rd. Left at hwy 150 for a scenic rolling climb around Lake Casitas.

Bike Shuttle: Please pack a change of clothes, street shoes, $money$ for dinner and bring to the Start at the Glendale Amtrak Station. LABEL YOUR DUFFEL BAG PLEASE. We will have a U-Haul to transport duffel bags and bikes.



Glendale Load-in: Duffel bags for post-ride use onto U-Haul by 7:45AM.  


Santa Barbara Load-in: Upon arriving in SB, load your bike on the truck at Garden Street Lot (9 Garden St, Santa Barbara CA 93103)


Glendale Load-out: After returning to Glendale by train, Pick up your bike at the Glendale Amtrak Station (400 West Cerritos Avenue, Glendale CA 91204)

Dinner:  There are a number of restaurants a short distance from the Amtrak Station for you to choose from. Be sure to be at the train station in plenty of time for the departure. We will board together as a group.


Train: SB to Glendale Train #796. Departs: 7:02pm - Arrives: 9:23pm. (TIME SUBJECT TO CHANGE)  Be sure to have your ID in Santa Barbara. It is required to board the train.


Please Note

 All riders should be prepared to do minor repairs on the road (e.g., change a flat)

 Due to the challenging nature of most club-supported rides, groups will invariably form and split up en route depending on riders levels of fitness, training goals, etc.   Ride in groups.

 For your safety, please wear a helmet while riding.

 Inclement weather may result in a change of the route or cancellation of event.
