About this event

Join us for our September Club Supported Ride (CSR) from Pasadena's Victory Park to Griffith Park and back! This route is a new one for CSR, but it’s one most of us know well.

We’ve planned two route options:

  • Regular Route – a steady, scenic ride

  • Climbing Route – includes the Griffith Park climb up Trash Truck Hill and to the Observatory

Both routes will meet at a shared SAG stop in Griffith Park. After Griffith Park, both routes will continue through Kenneth Village, Glendale, up Chevy Chase, up Lida, and down into the Rose Bowl. We’ll finish back at Victory Park in Pasadena, where lunch will be waiting.

Pick the route that fits you best, ride with friends, and enjoy a great day on the bike!

This ride is supported in part by our sponsor First Wilshire.

REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 AT 12 P.M.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • All riders should be prepared to do minor repairs on the road (e.g., change a flat)

  • Due to the challenging nature of most club supported rides, groups will invariably form and split up en route depending on riders levels of fitness, training goals, etc.

  • For your safety, a helmet is mandatory on PAA rides.

  • Check the forum and event page before the ride, in case of inclement weather which may result in a change of the route or cancellation of the event.

  • Guests are welcome, but must also RSVP (guest ticket), sign a ride waiver and pay $20 to help pay for lunch and SAG supplies.
